Criminal justice reform and education justice make up our combined vision for racial justice in New York. It's time we prioritize education, not incarceration. We will be pushing for structural change by advocating for:

- Campaign for Fiscal Equity (Foundation Aid Formula)

- Safe and Supportive Schools Act

- Culturally Relevant/Responsive Education

We can't ignore the school-to-prison pipeline. We must dismantle it. Reforms to expedite the discovery process and protect speedy trial rights have to be coupled with a purposeful investment in education equity. Education justice requires adequate and equitably distributed funding for our public schools.
