Seattle DSA has officially launched its South King County Organizing Committee - aimed to further the ties between our mostly-Seattleite DSA membership and South King County communities, assisting and providing support with volunteers, utilizing our electoral capacity and influence, and expanding DSA membership. We are hosting our first kickoff meeting on Sunday, September 11th @ 6:00PM at Renton Liberty Park. Food, drink, good music and good vibes provided! We will be discussing the various campaigns that will require strong South King County support whether it is Washington State's Universal Healthcare Initiative, Tukwila Raise the Wage Initiative, or expanding Starbucks unionization efforts in South King County.
