On October 23rd, water protectors will meet with Canadian officials to urge them to shut down Enbridge's Line 5 pipeline.

Come to support the delegation team outside the Canadian consulate with signs, banners, puppets and chants.

After the rally, you are welcome to join us for a gathering and teach-in starting at 6:30 p.m. at Haymarket House, 800 W. Buena Ave, Chicago, IL. The space for the teach-in is wheelchair accessible and mask are required.


Event Organizers

This event's organizing coalition consists of water protectors/land defenders from nearby territories and people from groups including the Cross Border Organizing Working Group, Le Vivant Se Defend (Life Defends Itself), Communities United By Water, Rising Tide Chicago, and others. Those who wish to support this initiative are encouraged to share the event graphic and information on their own groups social media, within their networks, and with family and friends.


Travel Fundraiser

We are raising $5k for the water protectors train/air fare to Chicago, food, and housing. Any extra funds will be distributed to water protectors as an honorarium. Donations are not tax-deductible!
