Broken brake lights are among the most common reasons for police stops. Any police stops can result in expensive fines, harassment or arrest. For black and brown people and those without papers, a police stop poses a distinct threat. By fixing brake lights for free, we aim to take a small but significant action to protect one another from harassment, deportation or other forms of state violence.

During the event DSA Mutual Aid will have a array of free clothing, food, hygiene supplies, and literature for folks to peruse as you wait.
