Socialist Book Club is a monthly reading group that aims to offer readings on a variety of issues, ranging from historical classics to modern developments, from labor struggle to international solidarity. We encourage reading ahead and coming prepared to participate in discussion. Efforts will be made to provide copies to loan from the chapter library or to provide digital copies at request.

• January: "Marx’s Ecology: Materialism and Nature" by John Bellamy Foster

• February: "Anarchism and Other Essays" by Emma Goldman

• March: "Raising Expectations (and Raising Hell): My Decade Fighting for the Labor Movement"
  by Jane McAlevey and Bob Ostertag

• April: "The Society of the Spectacle" by Guy Debord

Accessibility standards on the Milwaukee DSA In-Person / Hybrid Meeting Checklist (based on the Accessibility Standards for Meetings) will be met for this event to the best of our ability. Please note that we will meet at the Milwaukee DSA office on the second floor of Zao MKE Church, which is not wheelchair accessible. Do not hesitate to reach out to the host of this event as soon as possible if you will have trouble reaching the second floor; if we are informed in advance, we will do our best to find a room on the first floor to meet.
