Please join Elected Officials to Protect America (EOPA) for a press conference highlighting the urgent need for federal action on the climate crisis to safeguard the people of Arizona.
Elected officials from across the country are standing together to protect the lifesaving work of agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Recent funding pauses and proposed budget cuts threaten to roll back this progress.
Attacks on these agencies threaten clean air, safe water, and climate pollution limits that protect public health. Arizona is on the frontlines of both clean energy innovation and deadly climate impacts.
Arizonans have the right to a safe climate, to breathe clean air and drink clean water, and to be protected from dangerous extreme weather.
