SOLIDARITY GADSDEN: a prayer vigil

Start: Sunday, August 20, 2017 3:30 PM

On Sunday, August 20, 2017, concerned citizens of Etowah County, who endorse love and unity with all persons, will gather at New Destiny Christian Church, 201 Goldenrod Ave, North Gadsden at 3:30 pm to seek God’s comfort and guidance and pray for our nation during a time of national crisis. The meeting is being organized by many churches, Love Your Neighbor, local Democrats and worried people. The prayer vigil will include music by Jay Hedgpeth, prayer by the Rev. Michael Goldsmith, reflections by Pastor Harold Kimble and Dr. Martha Lavender and Judge David Kimberley. In the face of demonstrations against many parts of our population, we concerned citizens will seek God’s guidance and show love, support and solidarity for all people being attacked by fringe groups
