Sound the Alarm Missoula
Start: Friday, September 20, 2019•12:00 AM
September 20th through 27th will be a week of international climate strikes. This week needs to see the largest turnout ever. We will be demonstrating outside NWE's Missoula office to say no to their plans to build methane generators and continued operation of one of the nations dirtiest coal plants. Many of us will be departing by bicycle for the NWE office from a student lead rally at Caras Park at 11:30. This rally starts at 10:00 AM. Please consider attending this rally as well.
If you can't make it to Missoula, show up outside your local Northwestern Energy office at noon on the 20th.
After the Northwestern Energy protest, there will be a family friendly rally at the County Courthouse at 1:30 sponsored by Families for a Livable Climate followed by a tree planting. Many of us will be biking to this event as well.
Please come out and support us like your life depends on it. Because it just might. If you can't make all of these events, it is most important that you be at the Butte event on 9/27 (separate event listing) but please help us send a message that can't be ignored.
