St. Ann's Hustings and Green Party Members Meeting

What: Hustings and May 2026 elections plans

Following our historic win electing Ruairidh Paton as our first Green Haringey Councillor, we are excited to now be kicking-off our plans for the May 2026 elections with a husting to select a candidate for the second seat in St. Ann’s Ward!

In May 2026, every Haringey council seat, including Ruairidh’s, will be up for election. We need a strong candidate to run with Ruairidh for the second seat in St. Ann’s Ward.

Please join us for a special members meeting that will include a hustings to select the second candidate and a further discussion on our plans for the May 2026 elections.

If you or someone you know is interested in running for the second seat in St. Ann’s please apply before midnight on 16 June. If you are interested in running for another seat please complete the same form.

Full timetable for candidate selection:

• 16 June - nominations close at 23.59

• 18 June - hustings will take place as part of a special members meeting

• 20 June - vote opens. All members will be sent a voting link

• 26 June - vote closes at 23.59

• 27 June - the successful candidates will then be announced.

We would like to get a diverse representation and we urge women or any global majority members to apply.
