Join Shahid for Change and the Clarion Alley Mural Project (CAMP) for this 2019 Block Party with a Vigil! On Saturday September 21st there will be a gathering of neighborhood supporters and allies standing up against racism, transphobia and other expressions of hate.

Shahid For Change will joining this action to make a public statement that we stand with the community and CAMP against violent tags, as well as physical and verbal harassment.

Come on out to support our neighbors, featuring a blessing by Aztec Dancers and talks by the Arab Resource & Organizing Center (AROC), the Arab Youth Organization (AYO), the Coalition on Homelessness, the Drug Overdose Prevention and Education (DOPE) Project, Homies Organizing the Mission to Empower Youth (HOMEY), Shane Zaldivar, and a representative from Supervisor Ronen's Office. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will lead a blessing, and Jorge Molina will lead a Sage offering.
