Be part of a national day of support for the Standing Rock Sioux Nation on Tuesday, September 13 from 3pm until sunset.

Right now, we’re witnessing one of the most courageous stands to protect the water as people rise in support of the Standing Rock Sioux while they use their voices and prayer to protect their ancestral lands, sacred sites, way of life, and the waters of life for all. This peaceful movement to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline is growing stronger by the day, and it’s time for all of us to rise up.

Last week I attended a prayer circle on Ononadaga Lake where one of the tribal spokeswomen said something similar to 'we're all native somewhere.' A recent media photo echoed that beautifully. It was that of a long line of individual tribal flags at Sacred Stone Camp at Standing Rock. (also depicted in the video link below) These vivid images of solidarity representing many nations, one people. If this is in alignment for you, I am holding the vision and inviting everyone to bring, in addition to signage, your ancestral flag or representation thereof, to create another strong visual of global support. Please bring art and banners -- and be sure to share on social media with #NoDAPL.
