In order to build power for our people, we have to build power outside of the political structures that have proven to us they aren’t necessarily there to support us. Tennessee Lawmakers have approved a new map that now limits Black voting power in Tennessee. It is even more crucial right now that we look to people’s power to make collective decisions that our community members actually want and need. We encourage you to stay politically engaged and also join us at our State of Black Tennessee Town Hall to learn and build upon the work of our Assemblies and Mass Meetings.
