Join us for a press conference against the Williams pipeline at the Nassau County Legislative Building. The proposed Williams pipeline would carry fracked gas under New York Harbor. The project is both dangerous and unnecessary. If built, the pipeline would increase New York’s reliance on fossil fuels, promote fracking, endanger coastal communities and marine life, and fuel the climate crisis. Fortunately, there are safer, renewable energy alternatives to power our economy and heat our communities. We will be meeting at the steps outside the main entrance. On September 23, join us in calling on Governor Cuomo to stop the Williams pipeline and for Long Island elected officials to oppose it.
