Streets for People + Seamless Bay Area Social Hour

Start: Thursday, July 22, 2021 6:00 PM

End: Thursday, July 22, 2021 8:00 PM

Care about fast and frequent transit, safe streets, and walkable neighborhoods across the Bay Area? Can’t wait to see Bay Area friends and advocates in person after a year and half of quarantine? Join Streets for People and Seamless Bay Area for a festive in-person social hour on July 22!

This relaxed social hour will be a great chance to meet fellow advocates and volunteers and learn about how you can help support safe streets, integrated transit, housing advocacy, and much more. You’ll also have a chance to learn more about our organizations’ work to build world-class transit and create safer, more vibrant streets and neighborhoods across the Bay Area.

Whether you’re a transit professional, an experienced advocate, or looking to start getting involved, everyone is welcome at this casual event. We hope you can join us!

Shotwell's is located at 20th & Shotwell in San Francisco’s Mission District. It is a 13-minute walk from either the 16th Street Mission or 24th Street Mission BART stations, and is also served by local buses. Shotwell's is at the intersection of two Slow Streets and has an outdoor patio, so we hope to be able to use outdoor space for this event, space permitting. The bar is 21+. Masks are not required if you are fully vaccinated; if you have not been vaccinated, we ask that you please wear a mask at this gathering.
