We have already experienced the hottest 1st May on record this year, with temperatures getting up to 29.3°C. So it’s going to be another hot year. And the government continues to take no action to protect its citizens and workers from ever-increasing heatwaves through the climate crisis.
So this year, between 14th-20th July, unions, movements and campaigning organisations around the UK are partnering up with Heat Strike for Turn Up The Heat Week!
