Olivia Mottley - LinkedIn
I’m Olivia Mottley, a software development student at Mohawk College working to shift technology toward climate justice and equitable systems. I’m driven by one question: Who gets to shape the future? At Responsible Futures, I collaborated with fellow students to hold our institution accountable by challenging top-down sustainability strategies and questioning current practices to better understand the institutions sustainability performance. What I’ve learned? Real change happens when institutions co-create with those they serve. Now, I’m focused on ensuring technology amplifies, not sidelines, the wisdom of communities in the fight for a just planet.
