Start: Friday, June 21, 2024• 7:00 PM
End: Friday, June 21, 2024•10:00 PM
To celebrate the longest day of the year, Climate Action Evanston and the City of Evanston are teaming up with Full Moon Jam to bring our community an exciting night of fire performances and music! As with all Full Moon Jam performances, it is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, free-to-attend event. Set to the percussive beats of local musicians, this unique theatrical event will truly be a marvel to behold. It is family-friendly and there is no alcohol, illegal substances, open flames, fireworks, flash photography, lasers or drones permitted. Please help us leave no trace!
About the Chicago Full Moon Jam
The Chicago Full Moon Jam began in 2004 as a group of friends coming together on the lakefront to celebrate a birthday with some fire spinning and drumming. By 2016 it had become an Illinois non-profit foundation reaching out to spectators through monthly summer Full Moon Jam events combining drumming and fire dancing performed on the shores of Lake Michigan, including being part of Chicago's Night Out in the Parks event series.
