On Sunday, September 21, we’ll celebrate Sun Day—a nationwide moment to honor the unstoppable momentum of solar energy and the bright possibilities it brings. Think of it as a chance to soak up some rays of hope. With a guest from Interfaith Power & Light and through music, we’ll explore how renewable energy is transforming the world, strengthening local communities, and what we can do next. Children can experience the sun’s power firsthand by making solar ovens and sundials. Afterwards, we’ll continue the celebration and conversations with chalk art and a MoCo Climate Pledge map of action.
