Sun Day is a Global Day of Action on September 21st, 2025 (which is also the International day of Peace), celebrating the unstoppable rise of clean energy. Join Peace Action at Geneseo and Friends as we come together to showcase the power of the sun and wind, the energy sources that can power our world without pollution which builds us closer to environmental peace.
Bring your signs and your voices as we meet in a rally to discuss and bring public awareness to the importance of sustainable energy for both us and our environment.
Rain or shine! only cancelled in the event of unsafe conditions such as lightning
We have space set aside for our wheelchair bound participants, along with plenty of space for those who wish to bring a seat to sit, as any speakers will be visible regardless of standing or sitting status. Depending on parking location, there are three stairs on the sidewalk, however, we will assist anyone who is in need in finding a work around.
We may utilize a bullhorn (microphone) which may be loud for more sound-aware participants
