For the past nine months we have asked Rep. Debbie Dingell to cosponsor the Joint Resolution on a Green New Deal by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey. For the past NINE MONTHS Rep. Dingell has refused to give us an answer. To make matters worse, she continues to take tens of thousands of dollars from DTE -- yes, the same big, bad energy company that gets most of their energy from coal. In fact, Rep. Dingell has taken $10,000 from DTE this past election cycle alone.

We will not tolerate Congresswoman Dingell's failure to take a serious stance on climate change any longer. Join us in the LARGEST demonstration Sunrise has taken in protest of Rep. Dingell's actions by occupying her office in Ypsilanti, MI on November 22nd. We will be meeting at 3:00 PM in the EMU Business school in Room 110 (300 W Michigan Ave Ypsilanti, MI 48917). From there we will walk to Rep. Dingell's office which is located directly across the street.
