Rebel Cathy was arrested as part of a blockade of the Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre in October. She sat down in front of the entrance and refused to move, blocking attendees from entering the conference.

Cathy was arrested and charged with failing to cease loitering.

The protest highlighted the hypocrisy of the SA Government partnering with the destructive oil and gas industry, despite recently declaring a climate emergency.

Cathy originally appeared at court in December but had their cases adjourned and are expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 15th February.
