Rebels Claire, Mel and Mai were arrested as part of a disruptive blockade action at the final day of the Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre in October.
The protest highlighted the hypocrisy of the SA Government partnering with the destructive oil and gas industry, despite recently declaring a climate emergency.
Claire and Mel poured fake blood and fake oil over the barricades. Both were arrested and charged with property damage.
Mai, who was dressed as an ‘Oily’ (black costume representing dirty oil), was arrested for refusing police orders to move after sitting down in front of a parked paddywagon.
Claire, Mel and Mai are expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 2 December.
