SURJ SF Dialogues are facilitated, participatory events designed for, but not exclusive to, white people committed to anti-racism work who want to explore and discuss issues of identity, community, privilege, racism, and white supremacy in our lives. Dialogues exist for the purpose of strengthening anti-racist practices in alliances and relationships with Black people, Indigenous people, and all People of Color (BIPOC) as we work toward personal and collective liberation.
On January 23rd from 12-2, we will be hosting our first dialogue of the year discussing strategies & opportunities to integrate anti-racist practice into daily life and the communities we inhabit - work, friendships, family, etc.
This dialogue will also double as an opportunity to learn more about SURJ SF and how you can be involved in various working groups.
As direct outreach is one of the most effective forms of organizing, we actively encourage all attendees to extend the invitation to friends and family.
