On Tuesday, February 19 at 11 AM, hundreds of crime survivors from across Texas will gather at the Capitol in Austin for the state’s first #SurvivorsSpeak. Representing a new movement of crime victims in the state, we will share stories, honor loved ones, and advocate for smart policies that support recovery for survivors and improve public safety.

#SurvivorsSpeak is the largest gathering of crime victims in the U.S. held each year during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. This year it is expanding to the state of Texas, part of its growth across the country.
