Sustaining All Life Workshop

Start: Saturday, November 16, 2019 1:30 PM

End: Saturday, November 16, 2019 5:00 PM

Sustaining All Life (SAL) is an international grassroots organization working to end climate change within a context of ending divisions among people.

The work of SAL is based on the theory of Re-evaluation Counselling (RC).

Through RC we can learn to become better listeners and by taking equal turns we get an opportunity to be listened to well.

RC is for people who want to act more powerfully and who would like to help others do the same.

RC is a tool to connect better with other people, become more playful and creative and to show more of ourselves.

In relation to activism it is very important that we look at all the hurts we carry from the many oppressions we are affected by.

Racism, classism, sexism and homophobia being just some examples. One of the central goals of RC is to do everything necessary to avoid the climate catastrophe. The aims of SAL fits very well with Principle 4 of Extinction Rebellion:

4. WE OPENLY CHALLENGE OURSELVES AND THIS TOXIC SYSTEM: Leaving our comfort zones to take action for change.

Workshop will be led by Klaus Frohlich
