Swing Left Chicago is hosting a fundraiser to flip our closest swing district, the Illinois 6th. The district is currently represented by Republican Peter Roskam.

Why Roskam?

Roskam has voted with Trump 97% of the time. Most recently, he helped create and voted for the tax bill. He does not support federal funds for healthcare. He supports the Muslim travel ban, is staunchly anti-choice and anti-marriage equality. He has even called climate change "junk science." Fundraising proceeds will support Roskam’s Democratic challenger (to be determined by the March primary) in the 2018 midterm election.
