Dear comrades,

The beginning of this year has shown that the contradictions of capitalism and colonialism in the United States will continue to sharpen and that the lives of working-class people and especially working-class people of color, will continue to worsen as the United States retreats from its regulatory functions and heightens its police and repressive functions. The events of cop city in Atlanta and the East Palestine chemical spill further prove the need for socialists to organize militantly to ensure that our class survives the absolute depravity of the dictatorship of capital. The need to organize and orient our fellow working-class people in Central New York toward socialism and total liberation is clearer than ever.

Our March general meeting will be held on March 12th. We'll look forward at our upcoming campaigns and projects and invite members to discuss how we can best accomplish the goals we set for ourselves this year in the convention.
