Engaged Durhamites for Democracy are planning an addition protest on March 29th as part of the #TeslaTakedown Global Day of Action to join others across the country in a strong statement against Musk.

We are partnering with Durham Democrats to protest at the Tesla car dealership to stand up against Musk, DOGE, and our constitutional crisis. This is a nonpartisan event, all are welcome!

This will be a nonviolent protest in which we want to make our voices heard that we reject Musk and need him to go.

Please bring signs both against Musk but also to encourage people to get engaged and active in the fight. We need people to do more than honk their horn.

Our message is also for Tillis and Budd to take a stand. And we need more than Democrats coming to these protests as many will be harmed by this administration. Please reach out to those you might not normally reach out to to find common ground.

Parking will be tight. We suggest carpooling. There is some parking on Grove Church Road and Barrowood. As a last resort, we can try to park at nearby businesses.
