THE REVOLUTION WILL BE HARMONIZED
with Kore Ionz, Whitney Monge and Cameron Lavi-Jones
A Benefit for Indivisible

Come unwind, fight Activist Burnout and join us to enjoy the sweet harmonies of a trio of amazing local musicians!  Hosted by The Grand Daddy Purple of Indivisible North Seattle, this event is a benefit for local Indivisible chapters as we carry on the work resisting the Trump Agenda.

KORE IONZ

Kore Ionz (pronounced kor-EYE-ons) is the project of Hawaii-born singer, songwriter, and producer Daniel Pak. The  Seattle Weekly describes his voice as sounding “like it was birthed right in the heart of New Orleans, with enough jazz heart to lead a Jamaican revolution of peace and love.” Along with his Seattle-based band, Pak has shared the stage with The Wailers, Toots and the Maytals, Steel Pulse, and many more of reggae’s founding fathers since dropping his first album of island melodies and rhythms in 2008.

WHITNEY MONGE
Whitney learned to capture the power of authenticity while honing her skills as a street performer. With or without elevation of a stage, each part of her performance, from the passion of her powerful, smokey voice to the intensity of a whispered lyric, draws listeners into an embrace within each truthful moment of song. Whitney was raised with rhythm and blues in her blood, but while growing up in the Pacific Northwest, her music was heavily influenced by the rock scene of the 90’s coining her own genre, Alternative Soul.

Cameron Miles Lavi-Jones has been playing and composing music and lyrics since he was literally three years old.  His first recorded song “The Aliens Must Be Kind” was a hit at the Brookside Elementary Talent show when he was all of five years of age.  Lavi-Jones has been going strong ever since. Starting with piano but quickly moving on to guitar, then bass, then drums, and eventually learning cello through his school’s orchestra program, Lavi-Jones is Gypsy Temple’s ring leader.  He continues to play all these instruments like a pro.
