“The Right Way” An Examination of the History of US Immigration Policy - August 24

What does coming to the United States “in the right way” mean? An immigration lawyer helps us explore the history of the politicization of immigration in the United States, as well as the way racist and oppressive forces have structured this rhetoric.
As socialists, we believe all people deserve a dignified existence, no matter their citizenship status. We reject the scapegoating of immigrant communities and the criminalization of undocumented community members. We affirm the rights of people to remain and thrive in the location of their choosing.

This event is held in a street-level space with a wheelchair accessible bathroom; however, there is a large divot in the backyard which makes it less wheelchair accessible.
