The Thompson Green Team seeks to engage youth and adults in the climate movement to demand immediate, bold and comprehensive climate legislation on the local, state, national and international level. The Green Team is leading before school green team climate rallies on 1st and 3rd Fridays. The Arlington Green Teams are collaborating with Arlington youth and climate action groups to lead a monthly climate rally on the front lawn at Mass Ave and Pleasant St on 2nd or 4th Fridays during evening rush hour.

A powerful wave of youth climate activists have been organizing worldwide to protect the Earth, the climate and future generations. Young people around the world have been been going on strike – every week, all over the planet – for months. In the September Climate Strikes alone, 7.6 million people took to the streets with us.  We are proud to be a part of the international youth climate movement.  On December 6th the Thompson Green Team Climate Rally will be part of a full day of  climate actions worldwide.

Guided by student interest, ideas, and energy, the Green Team provides opportunities and coordinates activities that will have a meaningful and positive impact.
