Through My Brother's Eyes: Race and Equality

Start: Sunday, May 15, 2022 2:00 PM

End: Sunday, May 15, 2022 4:00 PM

SURJ Flagler, together with the African-American Cultural Society (AACS), the Flagler Branch of the NAACP, and Seeking Insights for Solutions (SIS) is proud to host the second in a series of SIS-produced videos exploring issues related to race.  The initial video presentation, part of the “A Place for All People” exhibit held at the AACS in February, focused on race from a women’s perspective. “Through My Brother’s Eyes” continues the conversation from a men’s perspective. A facilitated audience conversation will follow the viewing. Light refreshments will be served.

SIS is one of several interest groups within the University Women of Flagler, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting education in Flagler County. SIS was formed to study and understand the issue of race and equality in the United States, and has grown to over 40 members.

We would be delighted to have you participate in this community event as we continue to learn together. If you have questions, please feel free to email us at: surjflagler@gmail.com.   See you there!
