The last week has been a roller coaster ride between the protests at the ministerials in Atlanta, and this week's revelation that the TPP was agreed on despite several unsettled issues, followed by pretty much all candidates considered in the running including Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump coming out against the TPP.  With all the excitement, we knew we just had to host some of the very best authorities on trade and on one of the most pressing issues of the TPP--access to affordable medications and healthcare

The National TPP Team welcomes the absolute authority on trade and globalization, Lori Wallach, Executive Director, Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch.  We are looking forward to Lori's legislative update and overview of reality vs. hype behind the recent closed-door meetings in Atlanta, and what to expect going forward. 

Also with us is fair trade activist and author, Zahara Heckscher, contributing editor and columnist on volunteering abroad at Transitions Abroad. Zahara's articles have been published in Community Jobs magazine and in the book Global Backlash: Citizen Initiatives for a Just World Economy.   She also manages a webpage,, and was arrested in Atlanta, protesting the TPP “Death Sentence Clause” during the concluding TPP ministerial.

Deborah Dion, Florida Director, Citizen's Trade Campaign will give us an update on the coming TTIP Ministerial events planned for October 19-24, and how we can get involved, and she'll also update us on the status of the No Free Trade Resolution being introduced this week in the city of Miami.

Emilianne Slaydon, TPP Media March, will update us on the coming Tuesday's Twitter Storm meme and where you can go to participate in the Tuesday night twitter storms.

Mackenzie McDonald Wilkins, Flush the TPP / Popular Resistance / Climate justice activist and key organizer of the #Fall Rising D.C. days of action, will update us on the #Fall Rising mass actions going into the fall and how you can get involved in stopping the TPP and other bad free trade deals.

Adam Weissman, TradeJustice New York Metro will update us on past and future actions in New York and around the country.
