90 minute sessions
Create content that moves people— from clicks to collective action. This training explores how to craft engaging digital content that strengthens organizing using an online-to-offline (O2O) strategy. Through case studies from campaigns across the labor movement and worker organizing, participants will learn skills and techniques to turn online engagement on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok, and connect with workers who use these platforms.
Getting our constituency's attention online today is shaped by short-form video, relatable, and engaging content. If our movements are not adapting, we risk losing reach and momentum.
This training is aimed at organizers and digital practioners looking to level up their online engagement when it comes to their campaigns. No design experience is required!
In this training, participants will:
- Learn how to plan and create compelling images, memes, and short-form content that can be used to grow your movement
- Use storyboarding structures and content frameworks that move people to action
- Build practical skills with no design background required
- Strengthen collaboration between organizing and communications teams
