This is a virtual event

Transportation for America is organizing supporters for a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reorient federal transportation spending away from its preference for long-distance driving and towards more public transit. Transportation is now the largest source of carbon emissions in America, so taking action to reshape the US surface transportation program is a critical step in addressing climate change.

This Monday, come hear from Transportation for America's Policy Director Scott Goldstein about the intersection of federal transportation policy & climate change, and about our unique opportunity for reform. We'll discuss how federal transportation policy worsens climate change, what needs to be done to make it better, what the just-released House transportation bill would do, and the role of advocates - including you!

This event will take place via Zoom. All registered attendees will receive a link approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
