People across the US are mobilizing  to demand our elected officials #ActOnClimate! Following President Trump's decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement, it is clear that we need to take concrete climate actions at the local level. Join us June 12th as we meet to continue the work we've started in encouraging our Triangle cities and counties to commit to 100% renewable energy!  

Together, we have an opportunity to drive our collective outrage into local action, and show the world a unified national response to Trump’s dangerous decision to reject the Paris agreement.

You can also start earlier by thanking Raleigh Mayor Nancy McFarlane, Durham Mayor William Bell, Hillsborough Mayor Tom Stevens, Chapel Hill Mayor Pam Hemminger, and Carrboro Mayor Lydia Lavelle for signing onto to the US Climate Mayors Climate statement. Also thank Governor Roy Cooper and Attorney General Josh Stein for signing onto the letter We Are Still In.

The action we need from every elected official is clear: Side with Paris, but go even further! Commit to a target of 100% renewable energy, without delay!! Stop building new fossil fuel projects -- emphasizing the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline and seismic blasting. Divest from coal, oil and gas companies and more!
