As Trump destroys federal climate policy and funding with the help of Long Island's own Lee Zeldin, we need Governor Hochul to show true climate leadership. But right now, she is dragging her feet. With the recent brush fires on Long Island, we know we cannot wait any longer.

Our state will be finalizing the budget in the coming weeks, which means our push for the inclusion of Fund Climate priorities is all the more important now. With billions of dollars in potential revenue, reduction of toxic pollution, and community-directed grants for climate solutions on the table, we have to ensure our campaign's climate justice calls are met this year.

Join us on March 20th at 12pm outside the Governor's Suffolk Regional Office to demand the climate action Long Islanders deserve. We will rally, hear from community speakers, and show that Hochul has the opportunity to meet the moment.
