UBI Lab RCT will host our launch event on 19 November 2020 at 7pm.
The valley communities have been left behind for decades. Since the mines closed our economies have never truly recovered.
And now the pandemic has revealed how broken the welfare system is by leaving millions of people left behind without any support during the most difficult time the UK has seen in generations.
It’s time for a 21st century solution to 21st century problems. Universal Basic Income is that solution.
It will incentivise people to work because they will keep more of their earned income. And it will ensure that everyone has a safety net whenever the hard times hit home.
Join us for our launch event on Zoom to learn more about this transformative policy. Our guest speakers include Beth Winter MP, Leanne Wood MS, Mick Antoniw MS and Shaun Thomas (co-founder of UBI Lab RCT).
