Join the North Brooklyn Branch of NYC-DSA & the Union Power Campaign for a district organizing canvass of Senator Julia Salazar's district. These events are a chance to talk to our neighbors in our DSA electeds’ districts, to figure out what issues are impacting people and how we can help, and to build working class power and socialism in New York City!

From helping people sign up for unemployment pay or food stamps, to connecting tenants to local tenants unions, to talking with people about workplace issues and connecting them with organizers who can support them, we engage with people on a variety of issues through district organizing, depending on the local context.

In general though, people have issues at work, and Union Power is about helping people organize to overcome those issues through collective action.

We will go over everything you need to know at the park before heading out in pairs. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a fully charged phone!
