First, we marched now we run!

Come and join us to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the Kona Women’s March. Last year in Kona, almost 4000 people marched for women’s rights and human rights.

2017 has been a tough year! We marched, protested, resisted, we waved signs on the side of the road, called our legislators, signed petitions, wrote postcards and did what we could to speak up!

In 2018 we will move forward by using our collective power to take back our country and improve our lives!

This event is an honoring of Women and the resistance movement.
We will have a march, followed by a rally with booths, Art, music, healing, entertainment, speakers, informational tables and more!

This event is organized by Women for Women and our allies. This is a free, family event created to inspire and heal.

The march led by Matriarchy Rising goes from 1 to 2.30pm. The Rally organized by The Women’s March Hawai‘i and Women community members will go from from 2.30 to 7pm. The march will start and end at the rally venue, Hale Halawai.
