Walk the Talk: How to Reduce Waste in your Congregation

FACS' Annual General Meeting will focus on how congregations can take direct action to reduce their waste. We will hear from Rev. Stephanie Allen who founded Zero Waste Church. She will discuss her experience of leading a congregation to reduce waste. Additionally, we will hear from Helene Shore, co-chair of 350.org Fairfax, about how to get involved in local activism, including the Plastic Free Fairfax Campaign this October. This event is designed to teach and encourage congregations to reduce their footprint.
