WCDP will hold its 2026 Convention and Endorsement Meeting in person only on Saturday, August 15, from 2 – 6 pm. Please note that registration has been re-opened! If you are registering now please show up promptly at 1:00 pm.

On site credentialing begins at 1:00 pm. Please arrive by 1:30 pm to ensure our 2:00 pm start time. Credentialing closes at 2:15 pm. The location will be disclosed upon registration.

• The purpose of the brief MDP-mandated County Convention is to elect members to MDP's Credentials Committee for the August 29 Nominating Convention in Lansing.

• If you want to serve on the MDP Credentials Committee please apply here.

• The purpose of the WCDP's Endorsement Meeting is to formally endorse candidates for the November 3 general election, to appear in WCDP’s Voter Guide and MIvoter.org.

You must be a current member and have joined or renewed your membership in the MDP (and by extension the WCDP) on or before July 16 to participate in the WCDP’s Convention and Endorsement Meeting or to join the MDP Credentials Committee.

Immediately after the Endorsement Meeting, volunteers finalize the WCDP Voter Guide which will be published in print, online, and at MIvoter.org. All versions will be available just before the Secretary of State mails ballots for voting from home.
