ON SEPT. 20TH WE TOOK TO THE STREETS TO DEMAND URGENT CIMATE ACTION FROM OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS.  ON DECEMBER 6TH WE STRIKE AGAIN!

Join Sunrise Adirondacks on December 6th as we show our support for the GREEN NEW DEAL and put pressure on NY-21 Rep. Elise Stefanik to PICK A SIDE : the side of fossil fuel money OR a livable future for the youth of her district. At this moment politicians have a choice: will they find the courage to stand up to the fossil fuel billionaires who bankroll both parties, or will they choose to condemn humanity to a future of chaos, pain, and scarcity?

WE HAVE THREE CLEAR DEMANDS FOR REP. STEFANIK:
1) SIGN a No Fossil Fuel Money pledge (Rep. Stefanik has taken over $150,000 from the fossil fuel executives in her career)
2) PLEDGE to support the Green New Deal

3) DECLARE a climate emergency

PLEASE NOTE:*Participants will congregate at Trinity Park at 12pm (noon) and march to Rep. Elise Stefanik's office building to deliver our demands. *Strike signs will be provided by Sunrise Adirondacks. *This will be a mostly silent strike; please allow members of Sunrise Adirondacks to direct you and coordinate the event. *Dress for cold weather.
