First Gathering of Green Party Members in Wealden East Division

See below for the original plan but now an hour of the session will be given to exploring what we need to do to win 3 divisions on May 7th and in particular how you can help the Heathfield & Mayfield campaign.

A chance for new and old Green Party members to meet with each other in a relaxed atmosphere and share ideas about how to create a supportive and active campaigning team.

Jane Trott and Velvet Mason have volunteered to take on the role of Division Organisers and will be organising events and contacting members to find volunteers for different activities over the coming months.

Anne Cross/Georgia Taylor East Sussex County Councillors for Heathfield & Mayfield Division/Forest Row will share their experience of working in the green Group as part of the opposition at County level.

The Horam & Punnetts Town by-election held last July was sobering. Although our wonderful candidate Diane held the seat for the Green Party but the Reform candidate was only 50 votes behind! The political geography has changed a great deal since we did so well in 2023 so we cannot be complacent. This is the time for members like you to consider how you might be able to help ensure that hate is defeated and the Green Party succeeds in Sussex.
