On August 6, at 7:00 pm EST, the 39th annual National Capital Area Hiroshima Virtual Commemoration will feature,“Lost Generation,” a color documentary about the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Following the film, Leslie Susan, author of Choosing Life, will discuss how her father, Herbert Sussan, directed the filming of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 and 46 and spent the remainder of his life trying to get the footage released. Professor Peter Kuznick and Dennis Nelson, a Downwinder, will join the discussion.
