Nobel Women's Initiative is joining with the filmmakers of NASRIN to bring you an online screening and panel discussion of the newly released documentary about the life and work of Nasrin Sotoudeh, Iranian human rights defender.

Monday, November 30th at 12:00 pm EST

NASRIN is an immersive portrait of one of the world’s most courageous human rights activists and political prisoners, Nasrin Sotoudeh — and of Iran’s remarkably resilient women’s rights movement. It was filmed in Iran by women and men who risked arrest to make this extraordinary documentary.

After the film there will be a LIVE panel discussion, featuring the filmmaker Jeff Kaufman, Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi, and Iranian activist Maryam Shafipour. The panel will be moderated by international human rights lawyer, Amanda Ghahremani.

*Please note - this is a North American screening so you must be located in North America to access it. If you are outside of North America please check the film page, here, for a virtual screening near you!
