Join me on a tour of the global development assistance field that programs humanitarian and development funds for developing nations. The peace and development communities need to be aware of each other's overlapping activities. Peace groups advocate against use of military force and promote conflict resolution, while aid agencies bring in emergency aid and transition initiatives to post-conflict areas, as well as anti-poverty livelihood programs that mitigate conflict and resource disputes.
