We are joined by Susan Beaver Thompson, a dedicated peace journalist, who shares how the media glorifies violence, war terminology permeates written and visual media, and the MSM serves as cheerleaders for the drumbeat of war. This was typified by the shameful Dept. of Defense-sponsored warmonger propogandists blanketing the airwaves as talking heads for war against Iraq, as exposed by Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! and the NY Times, drowning out the few voices speaking against wars for oil. Susan will articulate what are the alternatives and share how she evolved into the niche of being a peace journalist and what that entails.
