The International Day of Peace, started by the United Nations 75 years ago, will be held on Monday, September 21 this year. The UN is calling for everyone around the world to take time for one minute of silence at noon that day. This will create a giant wave of peaceful meditation around the world as the different time zones reach 12 noon. The Fort Myers Peace and Social Concerns Committee invites you to participate in this world- wide acknowledgement of PEACE.
