Speakers:

Myriam Castello: The Manifesto of Peace.
Myrian Castello is a Brazilian educator, facilitator, and social entrepreneur committed to building a more peaceful and connected world. As Educational Coordinator at the Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA), she designs transformative learning experiences for youth across Latin America grounded in empathy, dialogue, and collective leadership. Through Fábrica dos Sonhos — founded in 2013 — she has reached over 25,000 people across 15 countries, advancing programs aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Board Member of Culture of Peace Corporation and Peace Manifesto, she is acting to a more peaceful world where everyone can have their rights guaranteed.

David Adams: Coordinator.
David Adams is an American peace activist, scientist, scholar, writer and journalist, living now in France As a professor at Wesleyan University he ran a brain research laboratory and published many scientific articles. Adams then served at UNESCO, where he worked on the Culture of Peace initiative that eventually led to the International Year for the Culture of Peace.

Sean Conner: Executive Director IPB.
Was appointed Executive Director of IPB in October 2022. He holds a Bachelors in Intercultural and Critical Communication Studies from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a Masters in Intercultural Conflict Management from the Alice Salomon Hochschule. Prior to joining the IPB team in Berlin he worked for the Centre for Cross-Cultural Study (CC-CS) in the USA and in community development with the non-profit Enlace Project in Nicaragua.
Sean brings his range of experiences to his peace work and activism, where he highlights the importance of intersectional coalition building, intercultural and international exchange, and a strengthening of civil society.

David Swanson: Executive Director WBW.
is Co-Founder, Executive Director, and a Board Member of World BEYOND War. He is based in Virginia in the United States. David is an author, activist, journalist, and radio host. He is campaign coordinator for RootsAction.org. Swanson’s books include War Is A Lie. He blogs at DavidSwanson.org and WarIsACrime.org. He hosts Talk World Radio. He is a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, and was awarded the 2018 Peace Prize by the U.S. Peace Memorial Foundation.
